Nike Huarache 'Triple Red' (2017)

These were my first self-selected fire shoes. I'll never forget them.

I had gone to three stores and couldn't find these. I really wanted them. Finally I went into the Footlocker in Menlo Mall and I saw a pair on the wall. I asked the person if they had these in my size, 3.5 at the time but I said 4. I wanted a larger size so i could 'grow into them' - as the moms say.

Got home and these were *my* sneakers.

I used these as 'non-clean' shoes - I played sports in these, used them for recess. Until one day my toe couldn't fit and they had teared the outsole at the front. R.I.P.

1. In grades 4 and up at least five kids per class are gonna have these
2. Such an original design
3. Very comfortable
4. They have extra room at the back since it's some stretchy mesh material so you can slip them on instead of having to tie and untie.
5. They're really good for running and playing sports

(Bonus fact: My cousin gave me his size 5s when he grew out of them and I was still in my 4s. I gave them to my friend who wore them every single day. Spread the love.)
