LeBron 15 BHM (2018)

I was at one of my basketball games and I saw my defender on the other team with a black pair of these on. I fell in love. With the shoes.

I recognized the LeBron and looked these up online and found immediately of course since they only had 15 at that point. I got this set which were so vibrant I wanted them. There was another pair of blue and pink but they were sold out.

Such an artsy pair of shoes.

1. The entire shoe is a stretchy material, similar to the Balenciaga sock trainer

On the side of the shoe is a date, 7 03 2016, which is according to Nike, "LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade teamed up to deliver a powerful speech during the 2016 ESPY Awards, in which they called for fellow athletes to use their fame to heal a country divided by racism, injustice and gun violence. That moment was the driving force for the inspiration behind the design of the Black History Month edition of the Nike LeBron 15. This plus a powerful message sent on opening night when James debuted the LeBron 15 with a bold ‘EQUALITY’ message written on the back.
4. BHM means Black History Month. The red and green of this shoe is for the red and green of the Pan-African flag.
   
5. I ultimately took the laces out and just slipped them on and off. My favorite outfit was these with sweatpants and a sweatshirt for 6 hours a day until I got home from school
